When I was first musing about this post there were waaaaaay (yes all of the extra a's were necessary) too many directions I could head in but I chose to focus on those people who chose to half step in terms of their traditional beliefs and practices.
Now to set the table, I (like many) have lively discussions with myself in the shower (you can do more than jus masturbate in there people). 1 morning I got rather perturbed by something that I had heard involving being a traditional person who cannot accept certain things.
After tossing this thought around with my rubber duckie (shout out to Ernie, any way you choose to live your life is alright with me homie) I realized that many people are "traditional" or "anything-ional" or "gious" whenever it best suits them and it angered me. Beliefs arent a store that you can suddenly run and claim at 3am because their convenient to you. Im tired of hearing older men chastise the men of my generation for being soft and how they traditionally believe in the hierarchy of a household and then crumble to their women. Like really and truly if tradtionalist perspectives are really jus your way of trying to exert "power" over people (in your home) than thats kinda sad and hypocritical. Not to be judgemental (a bit of a cop out I kno) but really picking and chooising what beliefs you like and then discarding the rest in an attempt to force or lord them on others is just weak.
If you wanna be overtly traditional (ie men are the boss) and try to incorporate new age thinking (ie women should work and make money too) than I think thats backwards (those are definitely conflicting ideals) but its you and your welcome to do you. When that starts being forced or tryin to be forced onto me and mine (whose opinions dont reflect that and are much more varied and for lack of nicer word, smarter) is when chests get stepped into and no one has a good day. Ive heard these lame justifications for far too long and what the point of this post is to definitely call out anyone who you catch doing this on their B.S, open their minds and if you cant then open a can of whoop ass Stone Cold Steve Austin style....What?

Legit point, but is anybody one of anything anymore?? Nowadays there's Variations of diets, the law and religions - but I felt like you should've went in, like Stone Cold on Undertaker's ass...I know your trying to avoid B.S. but i feel like i just got the drink in my meal, and the waitress forgot the appetizer. ...and more beer!!!
