Patience may be a virtue, but its definitely not a character trait

"Patience is a virtue", a much overused phrase when people are tryin to convince the impatient people of the world to slow down and relax (it really doesnt work so why bother?). Now I've come up with my own spin on this phrase, yes "patience is a virtue but its definitely not a character trait". Now in this I mean that to all those who feel the need to condescendingly say patience is a virtue as tho its goin to make everything all the better for those who want their flash fried cow now! (Simpsons reference...I think if I cant find clips I'll jus mention where their from, maybe)

Dont get it twisted Im not excusing those impatient jerks who prod and poke and annoy til' they get their way (especially since Im often one of those jerks) I'm just sayin theres a MUCH better way of handling them than spouting some old cheesy, lackluster line. What does the virtue of patience really have to do with some driver goin 50 in a 80 zone? Anyone? Anyone? Absolutely nothing and if someone can actually prove that relevance I'll eat my hat.

Short post short (ya its that time again) the answer for dealing with impatience shouldnt sound like it comes from a fortune cookie because really and truly if someones impatient, (condescendingly) saying "Patience is a virtue" will only prove to further push them over the edge.

Jus think of it this way would you tell this kid that "patience is a virtue" or be like CALM THE F*CK DOWN and prolly smack him up? which do YOU think would be more effective? Its all about touch
