Common sense, it really aint that common

So sad that the title pretty much sums this post up but Im still going to write as much as I can about it no BS. There really isnt much to add to this other than pointing out all the times Ive seen people either ignore their "common sense" or show their glaring lack of it and adversely affect my life smh. Now to pull back from being sounding so judgmental and jus try to look at what most of us consider to be "common". Not wiping your shoes nose on someone else couch sleeve is a good place to start. Avoiding calling names (darknesses) things of that nature, just being polite and having manners is a big plus. Unfortunately for whatever reasons (developmental delay, asbergers, people dont have em and then cant teach em) we all dont share a common morality or rulebook therefore "sense" becomes quite a broadly defined and encompassing word and we have our own interpretations which leads to that title. I really am beginning to think I should hold a seminar or somethin but I digress whats common to me aint necessarily common to the dude over there and as a result my expectations are then blown to shit cause he didnt do what I thought to be an idiot proof action.

In this editiion of the Burning I's we finally lay Kanye to rest (for prolly all of a week or an episode), talk about Kobe brandishing his huge (embroidered) "Black Mamba" all over the place, and we twirl our mustaches in honor of Movember. IllDapoe gives the advice this time (Im Sorry) and I shout out more people than KG in his victory speech...shout out to KG.

The Blind (faith) Leading The Blind (faith)

Religion is probably the touchiest subject ever to be discovered and then discussed on this blog. It scares me. A LOT. Ive never been 1 for blind faith and as much as I wanna follow based off little to no actual proof but its really difficult for me since the punishment for not having blind faith (in my religion....or the religion I was raised in) is a fiery pit where theres no AC and an abundance of pointy forks. I jus have a problem believing that 1 of all these seemingly insane stories is actually true. I mean Ive seen many laugh at Scientology cause its belief is that an alien fell into a volcano and then had his body scattered all over Earth but how far fetched is that compared to a bearded omnipotent being that knows all and lives in the clouds? Ive gone from tryin to follow all religions (sorry I hate punishment and I wanted to be sure) to following none (Im also hella lazy) but Im still finding my niche. After watching Star Wars I (even) contemplated being a Jedi (since its basically the same thing) but Im afraid of all the days off work I'd lose, Mark Hamil's Bday isnt a holiday.... yet. But seriously speaking I think the main reason Im so nervous is because I know that practically every religion ever is man made and man has some really nerve racking flaws.

Complacency, the death of hard work

Now this is an old phrase, to which I admit Im paraphrasing and its pretty simple in its meaning; when you get satisfied with what you've accomplished, you lose the fire in your belly and get soft. (By the by Im loving using these 1 liners as titles in case you havent noticed :D). Back to complacency. Ive found with me a lot of times if I get satisfied I tend to get somewat complacent, fortunately for me I have issues and status quo isnt ever enough so it doesnt last and as a result I usually need to shake things up a little at some point (see the beginning of this blog). Now unfortunately people are prone to doing this and digging themselves into shallow graves ruts that become painfully difficult to get out of and per usual 2 Easy's here to help, shovel in hand (dig up stupid)

So tired...so very tired. With that being said be sure to enjoy our sleep deprived rants on the mediocrity that is Jersey/Lake Shore, the early award winners in the NBA and finally our discussion on the 2 best children's movies of all time. If you like drunken rantings & tangents, than you've definitely come to the right place Ill goes OFF in this one lol, enjoy.

Swing & A Miss....Communication

When it comes to 2 people communicating, you'd be surprised by how much miscommunication goes on. It legitimately makes me think that people are speaking 2 different languages because of all the subtext and body language, not to mention wordplay and double entrendres and all the different nuances of people and their communication styles make miscommunication a far more common occurrence than it should be. O and I forgot to add people not BEING CLEAR ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT helps add to the problem that is miscommunication and it hurts me so. In seeing it, hearing about it and overall experiencing it Ive lost all patience for it.

Its that time again... the time where 2 sleep deprived weirdo's (Ill Dapoe & 2 Easy) sit and yell at each other for 15mins and then tape it. This time around we talk about Kanye's politics and genitalia not to mention we call out our childhood heroes (Randy Moss) and then tell you how to live your life....ur welcome.

Titans Collide: Lion King vs. Aladdin

Now (ya Im excited and Im goin rite in on this one too) Ive been hyping this post and matchup like Don King minus the bad hair and worse grammar for weeks now. These are quite frankly the 2 best children's movies of all time and the question is: whose side are you on? In preparation for this post I actually watched them both again and for once not jus for my child-like enjoyment but for research purposes too. I love them both like children, but definitely not equally (ya Im gonna have favourite kids, deal with it) and my heart lies with Lion King. The street rat has and will continue to change lives but Lion King to me is just that much better. This kind of reminds me of the age old football debate between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Well to me Lion King is Tom Brady. Peyton Manning (Aladdin) is just great period no questions asked and quite possibly the best ever and the same can be said for Brady so it comes down to the little things and preferrence in this comparison. Brady has movie star good looks and a gorgeous model wife as well as 2 extra rings and thats why most people would choose him but thats not to discredit Peyton who has more MVP's. That comparison was only relevant if you follow sports so you could see how closely matched these 2 staples of childhood are. In this post Im goin to do a thorough analysis and breakdown/comparison of the 2 movies and show why (in my humble opinion) that Lion King takes the crown and of course it wouldnt be my blog if I didnt share some vids along the way :D 1st up, Storyline.

Justifications are jus glorified excuses

Now (ya Im gettin rite in there this time) excuses are often easily avoidable and used to cover up failures while most justifications are supposed to be seen as REASONS as to why things happened which means their usually more acceptable than excuses. This post is callin the both of them out. OOOOOOOO (noise made by kids wen 1of em gets in trouble). I want to everyone to kno that jus because your more intelligent and can come up with great justifications does not alleviate your responsibility to yourself or others!
