Now this is a phrase that myself and my P.I.C have uttered many a time but I never used to fully grasp and I jus chalked it up to it being from a movie or show I never saw and jus went with the flow. Unfortunately we all kno that Jel cant jus afford to not think so here we are.
Originally this phrase was uttered when we were sick or lacking on sleep or food or pretty much in reference to whatever the human condition usually requires of 1's body because when it was ignored or seen as not needed sayin "Im a machine, JERK!" with a ridiculous amount of swag gets you hype enough to step in a nigga's chest (trust me wen I say that, there are many a chest with my footprint due to bein too hype). Initially thats all the phrase was to me in its simplest form because as in previous posts we've already explored my uncanny ability to survive without sleep but those of you who do not know me intimately arent aware of my ridiculous amount of energy or stamina and slightly above average athleticism which are also to me very simplistic versions of my machine wiring. Where the complexity enters here is when Im able to set aside emotions for logic in a Vulcan-esque manor (dont let the Trek language fool you, I kno jack about that franchise other than Nemoy is a living robot and Bill Shatner is not only the greatest captain but greatest rapper over 60 of all time, at least till 202? wen Jiggaman hits that mark) and although they can influence me Im about as emotion driven as a calculator.
However, Ive also learned that Im definitely not as cold as a rock tumbler because I have a human side and the propensity for this thing you humans call love which leads me to my new favourite term, cyborg (leading candidate for my 1st sons name, sorry babe). Now I feel a cyborg best describes me because it takes the best of a human and adds robotic enhancements to make it the ultimate being and being that Im able to switch back and forth between cold and logic but warm and caring I can say that Ive evolved past being jus a Machine and now Im more of a Cyborg.....Jerk, version 2.0

ahahahahah welll, i can help you with the origins of being a machine Jerk. You can thank the "humanoid hype" Ray Lewis. It was during one of those sounds from around the league clip shows. And somebody must have poured his coffee wrong but he went in!! The most memorable(non curse riddled) phrase was....You can't Stop ME!! IM a MACHINE ...JERK!! I respect the upgrade...just dont let that original hear you.....that boy Crazy!!

ReplyDelete2easy, physically you ARE a machine. you're a freak of nature. but on that emotional front... to me, you're quite human. you're not a big, sucky crybaby like most of our society but that doesn't automatically make you a robot. you're quite human to an extent i actually don't understand more times.
who knows... maybe Cyborg [yeah, yeah, i said it. shut up] will automatically have that perfect balance.
