Ok so ummm, I still don’t know what the mtv list is for, but the wiz dude shouldn’t be on it. I don’t really know who he is lol I think he’s still mainly known as an underground rapper,so yea. The only song I’ve heard from him is black and yellow. Why is Jay-Z on the list? Kind of random, has he even had a song this year, i dont think? Why is Rick Ross ahead of Wayne..I think I’m the only one not amazed by him. I enjoy BMF and everyday I’m hustling...however he doesn’t deserve to be in the top 5 or ahead of Wayne...Eminem at the top, I guess I’m missing something, from what I know he’s just really angry :S but again I don’t really know what this list is for, so yea.
ReplyDeleteAs for runaway, kanye looked good! That is all. Ok and the vid itself was cool. The bird lady was pretty. But Will I don’t think as many artists are this creative to do these lil movie things,maybe some but not all, at least not at the same level as Kanye. As for Drake, yes his songs are easy to picture, yet when it comes to his music vids, they suck..So yea...he needs to work on improving that. He got a bit better though with find your love.

The list has several criteria for 1 to be on it. Buzz, lyrics, performances, sales, etc etc and I can understand Wiz not there but as I said in comparison to Flocka Iunno if I can support that. Jay-Z has had some great shows and features and his songs apparently have carried over to this year and Ross has been HUGE in the states (allegedly) Thats the thing, wen it comes to a Runaway-like project I feel as tho you dont need Kanye brillance to pull it off that spectacularly cause many people have good music videos and their not Kanye rite and I like Drake's vids, their different :D Thanks for the feedback homie, much appreciated :D
ReplyDeleteI love it I love it I love it. Couple things, you guys spoke some good truth about the list, and about that whole Kanye thing. It's been done but not anywhere near as long. Not that I know of. But as far as feature film music videos, Thriller. Had a full cast of people for directing and producing, more so than a typical music video. It was also pretty long. And as for my blog, I understand it's pretty long per post, but I want you to exercise your brain. Seriously, not many people read much anymore and I know it sucks and it would probably help with pictures or videos or audio clips but I want it to feel like pages from a novel. If I could get you to imagine everything I write and feel as if you're there, then I reached my goal in terms of telling my story well. I'm freaking honored by the praise, I don't think I'm a genius but I'm glad they appeal to you guys. I love both of the blogs and this is a really cool idea which I hope it goes far, maybe even into podcasts. Some day I would like to make a cameo lol. Keep it up guys! Oh and if anything, I would say make a separate blog for the both of you and then keep your personal blogs separate. But if this works for you that's cool. I like how you both input something, but the wording is different because it's two blogs. Nice job guys.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chef :D Wow Iunno how I forgot to mention Thriller (Smooth Criminal is my personal favourite) LOL do you ever exercise it man, ur posts have so much vivid imagery and writing I think I may get a seizure. Its great and I dont read as much ur rite so reading it is helpful in that way its jus so looooong lol. Dont change a thing it's jus gonna take me a while to get thru it and the comments are goin to take even longer lol. Ya dont worry we wont combine our blogs, I like my freedom but the Burning I's may get its own we're still figuring out where we're goin with that and our plans for it. Thanks JPM
