Finding legitimate words that rhyme with blog is not an easy task in the least. This lil blurb here was mainly a glorified status update because I realize I take random uncalled for hiatuses all the time and leave all my fans/readers wondering "Why 2 Easy? WHYYY???" (I naturally assume everyone is more emotional then they may actually be, safety procedure) To which I say, blogging isnt as easy as I (and my ol pal IllDapoe) have made it out to be. Inspiration and follow through are needed when blogging and even then I personally am farrrr too particular (I read these things over like 10 times before I click post) about my ish (I think children may be reading/listening) to jus be pumping out entries not to mention trying to lead some semblance of a real life not only distracts but drains the brilliance from me.
Thankfully I have another creative outlet that doesnt require so much of me; The Burning I's! (I really jus need to show up and be my usual charming self and let IllDapoe get a word in edgewise) Now complete with a brand spanking new twitter account (@TheBurningIs) not to mention a freshly registered website (www.theburningis.com) which is where you can go for all your Burning I's info and updates from now on (Yes I know my blog is mainly Burning Is related but it shall survive!) Its time the Burning Is spread its wings and flew from my blog out there for the world to enjoy. (Hopefully you all support and offer us feedback) I will be promoting a bit here and there and I'll post the latest episode (23) here but after that for your new episode fix you'll have to either head to the fanpage or the website....Thetransference end of an era
Im also working on some other things which means even less time to dedicate to my blogging gripes and tips so keep your eyes peeled for them too, fun times in the life and times of Jelani :D
As per usual I wanted to end with a video and I typed Whats All Good In The Hood in on youtube and this incredibly surprisingly funky result came out... enjoy :D
