Its All Prostituion To Me

Please reserve your gasps until after you've read this in its entirety (there will be plenty of time for disgust and disagreements then). I like to make outlandish statements then do my best to back em up.

Allow me to add some context to this clear over reaction of a statement. When it comes to the trading of goods and services, there is a whole lot of room for interpretation. If one is degrading themselves doing a job they hate and that compromises their morality, (reality television) I see little to no difference between that and trading ones actual physical body for some duckets (do the kids still say duckets?) Whats the difference between swallowing ox testicles for the chance that you can have a big payday and having some random ones in a alleyway for a considerably more reasonable smaller amount?.... other than the fact that Joe Rogan is hosting one and probably a participant in the other. In terms of actual earning I think Im jaded (although Ive been lucky enough to have avoided the degrading/embarassing jobs that would cause one to consider "adult entertainment") but if you view prostitution as such a degrading job but your "uniform" makes you ashamed to be seen then whats the difference? Besides many of this is said under the idea that the prostitute/stripper/porn star is unhappy or feels degraded whereas they can possibly be as fulfilled as one is with their teaching career #kanyeshrug.



Moving onto the dance we call courtship. If I decide that I'd like to get to know a girl by going out with her to dinner, bowling, spelunking, a movie, paintballing (I can be an interesting date....kinda) what have you, this idea that the man HAS to pay only further perpetuates the idea that pussy is a commodity or worse yet on a pedostal. If Im trading you dinner and movies for your vagina, why is that acceptable rather than those women who decide to straight cut out the middle man? I wanna know where this line is drawn? Many people have been used/fooled out of/for things in exchange for sex or the idea that sex could one day be a possibilty and this is different than exchanging sex for cash how??

Sorry I may be over generalizing here and I'll take that, however I jus feel as though people need to rethink their establishment of these lines for themselves instead of being so quick to call and judge someone as a ho/prostitute when really at the end of the day, we all trade a piece of ourselves somethin for the all mighty dollar... #jussayin

Now I dont share Riley's views (at least not all of em) but he does raise many many valid points and questions. Food for thought much?
